For my first blog post, I’d thought I’d tell you guys a little about
myself. For starters, my name is Natalie. I am 19 years old—will be 20
in January, from a small town in Connecticut. I am currently a sophomore
studying Fashion Merchandising and Retail Marking at Johnson &
Wales University in Providence Rhode Island. This blog was originally assigned by one of my professors, and I love the idea of it. I am in love with the city
life and don’t know what to do with myself when I go back home to my
small suburban town. Fashion, beauty & style have always been interests of
mine ever since I was little. I get most of my inspiration from my ever
so chic Mother and Grandmother. Their sense of style never ceases to
amaze me. I enjoy the simple style. I like taking what I already have
and figuring out new ways to style it with other clothing items I own. I
mean come on, I am a college student with a budget, there’s no room for
spending money right now. I also really enjoy finding gems at thrift
stores and flea markets. Again, genetics from my Mother and her Mother. I
think that’s all for now. The more I post the more you guys will learn
about me. Oh, one last thing, my favorite print is plaid, which I’m sure
you could have guessed from this blog title. I will also be following Calvin Klein's campaign #MyCalvins and even incorporating their products into my posts.xo, Natalie
